Rötha is located in the Leipzig Neuseenland.
The Leipziger Neuseenland is a unique, former opencast mining area that is perfect for a Segway tour. On a Segway you can enjoy the landscape to the fullest and enjoy the wonderful view of the reservoir and Rötha Castle. The Segway tour starts in the Bahnhofstraße in the parking lot on Böhlener Straße, passes the former Rötha Castle, through the castle park and leads along the reservoir to the Kahnsdorfer See. There you can admire the impressive recultivation of former opencast mines and take advantage of the different path conditions such as forest paths or tarred bike paths with the Segway.
The tour is suitable for both beginners and advanced and lasts about 1.5 hours.Before the tour, the participants will be instructed in how to operate the Segway by experienced Segway guides, since we ride with bicycle helmets, you can bring your own helmet or the guide will provide you with one.

Es gab sogar eine Erinnerung und Udo, unser Guide für den Tag, meldete sich vor ab nochmals mit Infos.
Am Treffpunkt war der Übungsparkour bereits aufgebaut und nach einer theoretischen Einweisung und dem Kennenlernen aller Regeln ging es auch schon auf die Segways und es wurde fleißig ausprobiert. Dabei hatte Udo stets alles im Blick und half bei Fragen.
Auf der Tour trafen wir dann auf fast alle möglichen Untergründe (nur tiefe Pfützen und Eis fehlte noch) und konnten unser eben erlerntes Wissen in die Tat umsetzen. Das Wetter war ideal und wir genossen die Umgebung und das schnelle Vorwärtskommen.
Während der gesamten Tour hatte Udo jeden im Blick, gab Tipps und viele Informationen zu allem, was wir so erblicken konnten.
Ein rundum gelungener Ausflug und jedem zu empfehlen, der die Gegend gern mal kennenlernen möchte.
